The daughter in the story seems to be quite curious about life situations, just like the one she encountered when the old man started to interact with she and her mother. She is kind and gentle, at the same time naive. She is very worried about the old man health, she just want to help him no matter the consequences.
The mother is aggressive, she is not interested at all in the old man, she just want to get more than what she can give. She is selfish, stubborn, and cruel. Like her daughter, she is a worried woman, she does not want to put her daughter in any kind of danger. While talking to the old man she has a defensive attitude. As we could read in my story, her most important wish was to save her daughter from any type of harm.
The old man is a desperate, old-fashioned and innocent person, though no one can tell about his objectives.
